Quite attractive, nicely done with modern courtyard at the back. Decoration is new and contemporary, nice in the restaurant. Room clean and comfortable. Restaurant serving nice food, sort of gastro pub, efficient service.
Upgraded to a huge room with enormous bed and deep bath, luxury after a long day walking the Ridgeway. A little out of the way, though very handy to the Oxford Tube bus stop. Very good value. Breakfast reasonable. Dinners somewhat formal and rote but quite good.

A lovely place to stay, set in quiet surroundings. Rooms are nicely decorated and really clean. Both breakfast and dinner were lovely. Highly recommend it!
Great location that's popular for those on the Midsummer Murder trail. Sunday lunch / dinner is very good and at a reasonable price. Just be warned that you must book in advance.

Really nice accommodation. Very friendly people and a great breakfast! Dog friendly too. A great place to stay.
Secluded location yet walking distance to Chinnor. Lovely accommodation and very roomy and such a nice alternative to a hotel. We woke up to the sound of bees buzzing and our feathered friends and you get a great brekky cooked by Katrina. Thame is a short drive and a lovely market town with Tuesday the market itself.Good range of shops and places to eat and a good base for Oxford and just a short hop from J6 M40. You will not be underwhelmed!

Dropped in for a drink after a long ride on the bike - it was clear we weren't locals but that didn't matter. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. We sat in the lovely, large garden in the afternoon watching birds of prey fly above. I'd definitely visit again if in the area
Good atmosphere. Lovely staff. If your a big meat eater you'll like the food. South Africa themed pub with food

A very nice escape to peace and quite country side. Very warm welcome received. The farm animal noises were amazing.. The smells were amazing the hit tub was amazing. Though only downside was to get a decent meal or shopping is to travel into Oxford town a 20-25min drive away.
Was a lovely place to stay really enjoyed it. The cottage was beautiful.

Delightful English cottage with history and character. Homely and welcoming with all facilities (wifi, tv, ensuite, tea-making) and lovely homecooked breakfast. Set in peaceful village setting with good access to Chiltern Hills and South Oxfordshire. Jean is a wonderful host. Highly recommended.
This is a lovely place to stay with excellent hospitality. Jean and Trevor made us feel very welcome and even though we were there early, was not a problem at all. Bedrooms were very comfortable and clean with a nice bathroom with a great power shower. After getting up and feeling fresh, we were provided with an excellent hot breakfast basically whenever we wanted it. All in all a wonderful stay, and very highly recommended for anyone who wants to switch off from the outside world. Thank you so much Jean and Trevor, and we will be back.
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
