Dental Surgeries

110 Dental

110 Station Rd, Chinnor OX39 4QG, UK – 01844 353034

I've been going to Henry Hoy's dental surgery for some years now, and still use them even though I've moved 20 miles away. I've always had fantastic treatment - great service and kindness from everyone there. I've just had a wisdom tooth extracted and was very nervous beforehand. Silly me, it was a breeze! Being a wimp, I had some local anaesthetic and the tooth came out easily in seconds. Wonderful service, and I can't recommend them highly enough.

Wow this dentist..... I cannot recommend enough. Everything from start to finish is impeccable. The staff are all so delightful, warm, kind and professional. The environment is immaculate and the surgery is so stylish. The workmanship is perfect. I love going to the dentist when previously I had a phobia. Highly recommend and more!

This is my village church, dating back to Norman times. Had a good collection of brasses, the cartouches used to design the Rose Window in Westminster Abbey and a great, peaceful atmosphere.

Find Recycling Centres

Bledlow Ridge Household Recycling Centre

Wigans Ln, Bledlow Ridge, High Wycombe HP14 4BH, UK – 01296 395000

Good clean tip and recycling site. Helpful staff and clear signage. Can get busy on Sunday afternoons and on bank holidays.

Very helpful staff and always a very tidy site.

Give and get free stuff. Here you will find lots of items that people are willing to give away, for FREE! This is instead of taking them to a local landfill site. The aim of this site is to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill (20.9 million tonnes of it last year in the UK) and recycling is great news for the environment.
We all know that we need to recycle more - and this is a great way of doing it.

Nursery and Preschools

Windmill Community Nursery

Mill Lane Community Primary School, Mill Lane, Chinnor OX39 4RF, UK – 01844 352106

My son has just left the nursery today. I cannot thank them enough for all the help they have given my son. He started out last September extremely shy and afraid of new things..this has improved so much thanks to Mrs Payne and Mrs Sanders. They have really taken great care of him and he will truly miss the nursery and the teachers. I would have no hesitation in sending my daughter there when she turns 3..have already put her name down. A fantastic place to send your children.

My son loved his time at Windmill Nursery. The teachers provided a great range of activities and experiences to help further his development. They follow the EYFS to ensure each individual child is progressing and kept safe. I can't wait for my other son to have the same enjoyment 😃
